Professor Barlow Der Mugrdechian led a group of eleven students on the Armenia Summer Study Program, May 23-June 8, 2023. While in Armenia students visited the major cultural and religious sites in Armenia, including a visit to Holy Etchmiadzin. They visited the Armenian Genocide Monument-Institute and the Armenian Genocide Museum. A visit to Mer Hooys-House of Hope was especially meaningful. Trips to the TUMO educational center and the American University of Armenia were also on the itinerary. The group will share its reflections of the most memorable moments of the trip through videos and photographs. They will discuss the lasting impact of the trip to Armenia.
