On October 7, 2023 the Armenian Bone Marrow Donor Registry (ABMDR) will hold its eighteenth Annual “Walk of Life” walkathon.

“Walk of Life” aims to raise public awareness of ABMDR’s mission and mobilize the Armenian community of Greater Los Angeles to support the registry by signing up as donors, making contributions or volunteering.

The 5K Walk will be entirely through the streets of Glendale, and will therefore have a high visibility to the community. The walk begins and concludes at the City of Glendale, 633 E. Broadway Avenue, where we will celebrate with music, food and festivities.

ABMDR is a not-for-profit, non-governmental organization that operates world wide to ensure that patients in need of a bone marrow stem cell transplant throughout the world have a good chance of finding one, and thus a chance of surviving leukemia or other blood related illnesses. ABMDR is a grass-roots organization and survives on the generosity and
support of individuals and businesses.
